Black Eyed Peas-Behind The Front
Ok, Ok, I know what you guys are thinking when you see or hear the BLack Eyed Peas nowadays, but I wouldn't have put them in the blog if I didn't think they were part of real hip hop.....yeah I know they be on some Hollywood ish nowadays but they're debut album from 97 or 98 is on some real hip hop ish. Black Star-Black Star
Ok, So let it be known....I really dont have an all time favorite hip hop album but, if I had a top ten, this album would be in my top 5. This album was way beyond its time, not only on the production tip, but the lyricism is also as cleaver as it gets. No talkin about bitches and hoes, or rims and ice, just some positive hip hop for your soul......your universoul:-)
